Approximately 6 more weeks!
Approximately 6 more weeks, and I will be Mrs Lee.
Been engaged for too long, and I am glad that the wedding is coming soon.
Despite starting preparations early, there is still lots to be done & as time is nearing, the stress level increases too. Of course, the excitement comes along with it as well :)
I guess the most exciting part of the preparations for the bride is the gown fitting. I've chosen my white gown...a full bodied lace with a vintage style. It isn't one of those princess gowns, neither is it a tube gown. It is pretty much conservative, but very elegant. :)
The evening gown is the one which got me really worried. I'm pretty anal about evening gowns, and amongst the numerous weddings I have been to, I have yet to find an evening gown I think is beautiful.
It is not surprising that I didn't manage to find an evening gown I like at the bridal shop. And ended up having to customise my evening gown. I'm a fan of modern cheongsams, and after some discussions, the designer came up with a gown design. Had my 1st fitting last week, and without the embellishments, the cheongsam was already gorgeous. I could feel the excitement of my designer when she started telling me how she will be beautifying this piece with embellishments, and giving me a rough idea of how it would look.
I haven't got the best imagination in the world, and hence, am unable to guess how it'll look, but Dear is very confident that it'll look really beautiful. Will be seeing the finished product in 2 weeks' time...can't wait!!!
I wonder how I'll look on my wedding day...
