A Singaporean girl who graduated from a Medical College in the UK and currently working as a doctor, spending most of my years abroad burying myself amongst medical books, speaking Queen's English and trying to adapt to life in Britain. But I still remain a true blue Singaporean who loves my plate of char kway teow and enjoys the sense of closeness when speaking "Singlish" to my fellow countrymen. Why "The Chinese Doctor"? Because that's what my patients call me since they don't know my name!

Ultimate insanity

I can't believe it!

I only read 4 pages of my super brief lecture notes on Endocrine Pancreas after sitting on my study desk for 6 hours.

I deserve to be flushed down the toilet bowl manz...aiyo..

I can't believe how distracted I am tonight. I was practically doing ANYTHING but concentrating on reading about Diabetes. If this goes on for the rest of the week, watch how I get niao by Dr Prem and Dr Mir on Monday. I'm sure they remember me (easier to rem cos I'm chinese mahz..hor?). They probably might start wondering if I lost my memory completely within 6 months if I know nothing on Monday...eeks..not very nice to start my attachment this way isn't it?

By the way, I've bought the adaptor for my housemate, and yay!!!! The internet's up again! Hehehe...no more comp labs for the time being..I won't have to stay out in the cold at late hours feeling oh-so-alone :) Oh boy were they pleased when they saw the adaptor...I think they were more excited about it than seeing me come home..but oh well..nvm. *rolls eyes*

So what other stuffs did I do instead of studying? Hmm..I watched VCD, enjoyed my nice microwaved spaghetti bolognese (yummy!!!), chatted with Josh and Clayton, called up James' landlord to enquire about accomodation (this sux big time...too costly again..or maybe i'm juz being a scrooge...but then again..bo bian mahz...currency exchange is 3 point something manz!), sms Jacqueline regarding day trip to Birmingham, watch MTV, sighing, going in a daze and playing around with my new Pinky hp.

Then just when all's quiet again, I got back to reading Pancreas and can't concentrate. I know what I'm disturbed by. And that's definitely not the way to go. Definitely not, yet I couldn't help it.

I shall stay up slightly later tonight since I've been so lazy. At least I should aim to finish up reading about the Pancreas and Insulin/Glucagon Pharmacology tonight so that I can go on to pretty hardcore Diabetes topics tomorrow.

Time to wash my face before I continue studying. Feel like calling home..but what I should I talk to my parents about? Nothing much to update them except my extremely screwed accomodation problem, and of cos...I'm also trying to avoid the Nottingham issue just in case Mum brings it up...(aiyo..I wanna bury my head into the ground now)
